2024 was the 14th year for the Western Mass Mothers Day Half Marathon. And we’re still going strong! It was another great year with lots of runners, sponsors, volunteers, and funds raised.

How about a spring Half Marathon for everyone? On Mother’s Day? For a cause? That’s it!

In 2011, Sue Monahan was training for a half ironman competition and couldn't find a half marathon event locally to add to her training schedule. So, she made her own 13.1-mile course. The rest is history!

We said we were going to make our 2022 race the best comeback event ever as we returned to an in-person event after two years of virtual participation. And boy, did you all prove me right! We had our MOST SUCCESSFUL YEAR EVER!
